Kieffer Heating and Cooling has been serving Northeast Ohio for over 25 years as a family-owned business built on trust and long-standing relationships with the people we serve.

Our story starts in an unexpected place at a Dairy Queen. Back when Dan and Cindy Kieffer owned it, their freezer kept breaking down. After dealing with repeated service calls, Dan decided to figure it out himself. What started as fixing one piece of equipment turned into learning the ins and outs of heating and cooling, and before long, it became something bigger.

On October 26, 2001, Kieffer Heating and Cooling began, becoming the first heating and cooling company in Hartville, Ohio. Since then, we’ve spent more than two decades helping homeowners stay comfortable while getting to know the families we work with along the way.

A lot of our customers have been with us for years. We’ve been in their homes more than once, watched families grow, and built the kind of trust that only comes from showing up and being there when it matters. Those relationships are the reason we’re still here today.

In 2026, the next generation, Jacob and Cassie Kieffer, are taking over day-to-day operations. They’re continuing what Dan and Cindy started, keeping those relationships strong and making sure every customer feels taken care of. Dan will still be around, and the same team is here to help whenever you need us.
